It is always a pleasure to photograph a wedding in Granada! The city is magical and full of charm.
The day started with a Chinese tea ceremony. Kim looked amazing in her red dress, it was my first time photographing a tea ceremony and I was not to be disappointed! The bridesmaids had organized games for the boys, it was loads of fun and a great start to the day! During the exchange of gifts and tea there was not a dry eye in the house.
A little later on I returned to photograph the girls getting ready and armed with my map I worked my way up and down the Moorish streets of the Albayzin to meet Max and the boys!
They all looked very dapper as we headed for the venue to meet the wedding guests and wait for the arrival of the Bride. Kim later arrived in a vintage car and looking incredible! The ceremony took place in the gardens of the venue, The Palacette de Cordovo. I have photographed here before and with the Alhambra as the backdrop it is a great wedding venue and full of charm.
After Kim and Max said their vows, the guests enjoyed canapes and drinks before Kim and Max’s balloon release! The bouquet followed shortly after and with a little time for some portraits the wedding party sat down to dinner.
After some great speeches and the cake cutting, the happy couple, friends and family made their way into the courtyard and danced the night away!
